The Nebbiolo d´Alba by Massimo Rattalino grows in 25 year old vineyards near Diano d´Alba´ at an altitude of 250 above sea level. The wine is stored in Slavic oak barrels for 12 months before being filled in steel tanks for 7 months. After a rest period of 2 years in the bottle, the Nebbiolo d´Alba is ready to be enjoyed. A very dry, straightforward but elegant wine that shows aroma of violet, herbs and sweet spices on the nose. Dry on the palate, full body with an extra long finish. It's a lot of fun to drink.
