The Barolo sel. 34 by Massimo Rattalino grows in 40 year old vineyards at 350 meters above sea level in Novello. After manual harvest and vinification, the Nebbiolo grapes age for 24 months in Slavic oak barrels, for 12 months in steel tanks and finally for 6 months the bottle. The Barolo sel. 34 is a powerful, elegant wine with an intense color. Aroma of rose, violet and rhubarb dominate at a young age, which are replaced by spicy aromas, black pepper and truffles at increasing age. Very balanced on the palate with an extremely long finish.
