A Leithaberg DAC Chardonnay the way it should be, mineraly, spicy yet elegant. The smell of apricots and crunchy pear fruit is followed by hay and delicate caramel with flint. Black pepper and a smoky minerality are added to the palate. The fermentation and ageing in the 500 litre barrel ensures creaminess and full taste, the hearty acidity makes it an absolute joy to drink. The grapes are harvested by hand, fermented chilled and remain on the fine yeast for 6 months until they are filled into the barrels.
