Gemischter Satz Alte Reben - Riede Weisser Stein, a wine that stops time, kind of. The must was not clarified before it was transferred to the steel tank, to get the highest level or terroir. The storage time of up to 18 months on fein yeast gives this Gemischten Satz a particular special taste spectrum. One tastes the ground, the rocks and the slightly salty fruit aroma of the grape varieties. Peach, exotic fruit, ripe lime and blood orange. The wine is filtered course before getting bottled. Have fun in the glass. Vinaria magazine rewards 5 out of 5 start on a blind taste test.
Georg Nigl
IIn Georg Nigl's winery, the wine is produced strictly according to biological criteria. In the thermal region, on the outskirts of Vienna, the Nigl family works without pure yeast in the cellar and throughout the winery according to organic standards. All wines are fermented spontaneously with their own yeast, bottled without filtration or sugar and not manipulated by the addition of sulfites. The result is impressive: expressive and sometimes uncompromising wines, paired with a variety of aromas.
